• A transfer is only possible between a EUR and a foreign currency account. A direct transfer between two foreign currencies is not possible.

• The function is available between Sunday 21:00 and Friday 21:45 CET.

• The respective exchange rate margins are listed in the bank's Price/Service Specifications; there is no separate charge.
  

Performing a currency exchange

Please first select the sub-accounts for the transfer in the two selection fields above.
Under "Sale from sub-account" you select the account to be debited and under "Buy for sub-account" you select the receiving sub-account.
Below this, you select the currency in which the amount is to be transferred.

Example:
You would like to buy US dollars to the equivalent of EUR 100.

Select your EUR account as debit account, your USD account as beneficiary account and "EUR" as order currency (and "100" as amount).
If you want to have exactly 100 USD credited to your USD account instead, select the accounts as above, but select "USD" as the order currency (and "100" as the amount).
The same applies if you wish to transfer from your USD to your EUR account - i.e. sell USD.

The selected order currency determines whether you want to transfer a specific USD amount, or whether you want to transfer dollars to your EUR account for the equivalent of a specific EUR amount.

After entering the amount, a box with a blue border will be displayed with all the parameters entered. This serves as a summary and allows you to check your previous entries.
After clicking on "Next" you will be asked to enter a valid TAN.
You will then be shown the current rate, the equivalent value of your ordered amount and the value date.
The rate is a real-time rate which is reserved for you for this explicit order.

You now have 25 seconds to execute the buy/sell or change the order.
When the displayed time limit expires, you can request a new rate and decide again whether you want to execute the currency exchange.
After your confirmation you will receive a corresponding execution information.
You can see the turnovers for both accounts under "Intraday bookings and pending transactions"; after the posting, you can see them under "Transactions booked".

If you receive an error message while executing a currency swap, please check your turnovers as a precaution before you enter the order again.
